Re: Sepang blue with V-spokes....
Nice one, sounds like you've got it nailed, only other alternative is not to brake so hard, but where is the fun in that?!

Thanks northernpar - I'll give it a try.northernpar wrote:Never tried Armourshield but I'll look it up.
Cleaned the wheels today and the Nano Sealer looks to be doing the job. Pretty much all the brake dust came off with just a pressure wash. The Clean and Seal is supposed to preserve the sealing over time so I'll see how it goes.

Before you invest in a set of winter Dunlops.northernpar wrote: With respect to the tyres although I've only had them on a couple of days and there will be the 'new tyre effect' I'm definitely impressed with the Dunlops, so much so I'll plump for Dunlops for the winter versions....................
I lived for several years in the Baltic states where winters are severe and winter tyres are mandatory from November to March. Over the years I tried several brands of winter tyre and found Vredestein and Nokian to be the most reassuring on dangerous surfaces as well as pushing their way through fresh snow. Not much to choose between the two so for me it was a matter of availability and cost. I have tried Dunlop winter tyres (m3s maybe) but for me they were far and away the most disappointing, did not provide the same level of reassurance and, as they began to wear, became increasingly noisy.

Best Wheel sealant on the market. Just make sure they are treated and left over night for best durability

Do you feel the dunlops are much better than p zeros? I have 4k on my pirellis. I use Bridgestone blizzaak in winter, they are like glue but very loud on dry road
Re: Sepang blue with V-spokes....
Year old thread, and a bit early to be talking about winters.... but I've got Vreds and my Auntie runs Nokians on her quattro, both highly recommended. If I was buying another set I'd probably go for her Nokians. Superb value, and they seem to be better on bone dry sunny winter days (when the temperature gets back up) compared to my Vreds which feel like jelly when its 7 degrees plusanglaslt wrote:Before you invest in a set of winter Dunlops.northernpar wrote: With respect to the tyres although I've only had them on a couple of days and there will be the 'new tyre effect' I'm definitely impressed with the Dunlops, so much so I'll plump for Dunlops for the winter versions....................

+1 for Nokians.
I have used them on my S4 for the past few winters and they still have plenty of tread.
