which remap?

Post by adofly » Thu Jul 10, 2014 1:27 pm

Ofcourse I would prefer custom tuning but since nobody in my country can custom tune this car, I'm in the quest for the best tune to remap the ecu.

Car has magnaflow catted DPs and ECS tuning H-mid section but silenced and Tubi back boxes, also a revolution carbon intake has been installed and a Loba light flywheel, so all these need to blend with a good tune, I can feel the engine, between 3-4.5k revs, to hesitate and again to die little early up high. It feels (and smells) that the engine is rich on the a/f ratio.

So any suggestions???
APR, Custom-Code, DMS, JHM or other??

From what I have read and heard I would say JHM is your best option.

Why can nobody custom tune? Pretty sure MRC will be able to cater for your mods.

Have the JHM which is the easy (only) option if you live where I do!
Very happy with it but then I have nothing to compare it to.
Smoother power delivery and driveability has improved.
Not had it on rollers so no idea of power gain.
In Aberdeen for a few weeks so any members local want to borrow the interface let me know and see what can be arranged.
Save a few quid on the map.
