Lean on left bank?

Post by RSKiwi » Wed Jul 09, 2014 2:47 am

Hi guys,

My check engine light has come on and Vagcom says it's running lean on the left bank.

To me this sounds like an O2 sensor issue. Any thoughts?

Help as always is appreciated!

Cheers. I have a stage 2 MRC manifold which has been de-flapped but are there others which would still be in place?!

in that's case no ;)

best thing to do is clear the code and then take for an Italian tune up

Sounds like a nanda sensor tbh, when you go on VCDS go into 02 engine, click readiness.

Do all the sensors come up green and pass the test?

Have you removed the check light, sometimes you have to remove it on the controller and in obdII to get the light to go off

Cheers!

Haven't tried the readiness approach. I have removed the light once before and it came back up with same error a few weeks later so it is intermittent.

Nanda? Not Lamda?? Can't say I have heard of a Nanda sensor (not that that is any great surprise!)
