I drive my RS6 daily.... 1 week old now, 1200 miles on the clock. Should be run in nicely. I hope the "joy" of driving it ends soon... 1) my wife will divorce me as I am constantly taking the very long route home from work, instead of taking 35 mins, its taking 1hr 2) The fuel is costimg me more per week than the car !!!...

I agree it's a pleasure to drive when you put it in sport and dynamic it just seems to have endless power and mine isn't even mapped. That may well change when I get a go in another local mapped car!!!!!!

Let me know what you think of it... I cannot think that by chipping the RS6, you can get the thing to go any quicker and give more pleasure !!

Are you taking about a C6??

Believe me a standard car is slow as opposed to a mapped one!

I have to drive mine daily to Southampton city centre... 3 miles from home and takes half an hour, lovely! At least it's a nice place to be (the car i mean!)
At least I take it out for 'spirited' drives in the evenings now and again and usually cover about 200 miles in a weekend.

Had a good drive to wales early sunday morning, it just lapped the miles up effortlessly (and alarmingly quickly)... then i realized i'd done 13mpg, mustn't have been trying hard enough!

I used to drive my daily when I lived close to work but since I moved 25 miles away the fuel bill was starting to mount up slightly! Wasn't really enjoying the car doing the daily run as it was no fun just driving along with all the other sheep on the commute run. So I now have a little Roadster which is a blast to go to work in and the RS gets used when I want to drive, go out as a family, need to carry something big...... Just live how practcle such a beast of a car is. I do occasionally have to travel up North for work and I use the RS for this as I get a chance to really drive and enjoy it over distance, sod the fuel, lol
