Thats good to hear

My mate/bro who dealt with the sale (while I was at work) said Rob was a top guy and they were sure the car would be pampered.

All the tyres were in very good nick.
Pzeros on the front and contis at the back i think.

I think the front door looked a little off after the regulator was changed. Was meant to take it back to the mech to sort.

I'm sure the car will look amazing after a polish. Roof looks great waxed up! The polish will make it amazing!

I'm seriously missing it :(

Not sure what to get for the next 6-12 months. Was looking at 123d coupes - remap/dpf delete will see 270 bhp or so from a small rwd car with 40+ mpg which sounds good, but the timing chains are apparently very dodgy on these. Need something that won't give me any issues for 12 months or so. But still want something i'll enjoy.

I'd be selling the c5 for a c6... Got a caddy van as the daily driver.

What about other vag cars?

Lol.

Don't know why but i've been looking at e46 m3's. Standard unmodified examples look nice compared to the modded stuff and they're dirt cheap now. Wonder what MPG is like lol.

Have also been looking at E30 325i's lol.

Hopefully keep the next car for 6-12months max and then back to business lol.

Thinking of only spending £6k or so, as i need cash for other things atm.

Be aware very aware that there are quite a few dogs out there :bash:
The subframe (rear)tends to fail etc so some bills are like Rs ones! Springs frt and rear are treated as service items as they are like chocolate.
I run an m3 e46 vert as a nice roof down day car but sadly I am not selling her as she has only just done over 30,000 miles FSH from new :bigblink:
Besides I would want more than £6,000 for her as she is one of the very last cars sold :bigwave:

P.s.........I think the e46 m3 will soon become a sort-after collectors car after all the dogs have been broken/ written off etc!

Mpg is between 28-35
950 nm torque!

Ohh running bridgestones because they are the best ;)

Aware of those issues as I was very close to getting one before the RS.

28mpg sounds good to me!

If I do get one (i'm not sold yet), i'll get one which has had the subframe done. I'd leave it completely standard apart from coilovers tbh.

At a constant 80mph, mpg in my M3 is 29 (32 DIS). My average at the moment with 98% motorways is 27 (29 DIS). My occasional spurts bring it down. Around town, if driving gently, it'll do about 18mpg. These are measured averages on my car.

I frequently wish it had another 100 bhp, but it's an ace all-rounder.
