rick the MTM doesn't have an X-pipe so you can scratch that one off the list.

Does include not only the Supercharger but also an 4-pipe exhaust system with downpipes and metal catalysts; one mass fly wheel kit with stronger clutch...

BUT!

didnt know about the mtm not having the x pipe, dont you have to use that bonnet bulge cover with the MTM charger also?

anyway as for the exhausts scenario i think as long as the owner is happy with their purchase thats all that matters.

please no one start a best tyres thread lol

Agreed - as long as an owner is happy with their purchase and their reasons behind that, of which all vary, that's the main thing

For £50,000 euros you could buy a C6 RS6 with over 560bhp as standard

At least when Dick Turpin robbed people he had the audacity to wear a mask

Now who mentioned tyres ? :assflash:

lol I did have my arse handed to me. Are you referring to when I raced the 580 hp mercedes? Or when I raced the black B7 RS4?

That black B7 RS4 had the following modlist:

JHM remap
JHM 2.75" catted downpipes
JHM 2.75" catback exhaust
JHM LW crank pulley
JHM LW flywheel and stage 5R clutch
JHM LW rotors

I just had my stock RS4 (400-414 hp? ) + two modifications
JHM 2.75" catted downpipes
JHM 2.75" catback exhaust

So yes, it's not surprising that I got my ass handed to me in either of those two races!

Well, of all of the people on earth who have taken stock B7 RS4s to the dragstrip for performance testing, only 1 is the fastest.

All the owners in Asia, Europe, Australia, America, Canada, UK...all the magazines and car shows...of all the testing, guess who set the record? Me. 12.75 @ 108.36.

Stuff it! :) You can make fun of me for whatever you want, but questioning my driving skills won't get you far.

I can't believe you think it takes skill to hold on and swap a few cogs for a quarter mile. Get over yourself...try watching the Isle of Man TT and compare that with your 'skills'.

If I could have been arsed to go to the strip I could have spanked that time easy!!
And that's in my vw T5 van, smoking a spliff while playing the harp, not to mention the didgeridoo :bigblink:

I've got a toolbox full of items like you. Yep, they'll be tools.

As Sam says, a few cogs in the right order. Straight line. Yawn. It's holding a wheel at '10 and 2' and that's about it. That's not driving. It's boring straight line crap. I've ridden hyper sport bikes for 18 years. Continually go out and ride behind class 1 police riders out for pleasure, and keep up. So, don't talk horse sh*t about nailing a straight line and simply planting your right foot until you've progressed from puberty and played 'road craft' with the big boys.

Silas summed up your 'epic driving' skills perfectly. My uncle could do what you describe, saki - and he's a blind amputee...

Never rated class 1 or blue light trainers as the basic rules they work from are flawed. Not questioning the individuals ability. Me and my sister had a whale of a time picking holes in 'driver technique' when she was training as a driving instructor.

My Dad raced the TT in the late 50's early 60's, he had a 350cc and 500cc Manx Norton. Wanna talk about 'driver' skill? Try getting out of approaching a corner flat out on the 500cc (about 148mph) applying the DRUM brakes and ya front brake cable snaps........ No run off area's on the mountain :(
