promised ALL mot advisorys would be sorted they 'lost' the second page of advisorys which just happend to note 1 damper was weaping. This caused the suspension pump to give up the ghost after 1000 miles so I had to fork out for new suspension. For which they only payed half and that was only after I got an independent engineer involved.

promised a warranty which I never got so when the suspesion failed there was no cover. They then tryed to con the warranty company buy buying one on my behalf then making an immediate claim. Unsurprisingly the warranty company cottened on and denyed the claim.

Again I reiterate wouldn't buy again regardless of the cars they have on the forecourt.

That's fair enough mate, I wasn't having a pop and certainly wasn't calling you a moron.
My point was just as I said above in every buisness there's always going to be problems and it's just unfortunate that it happened to you.
I've had my fair share of bad luck with dealers and garages and I'm sure most others have, but I was making the point that not everyone should be put off from one persons bad experience

Hi guys and Amanda. I miss the banter on this forum so I decided to log in and saw this topic on my ex. Just to confirm, next to my Lotus Carlton, this is the most reliable car I ever owned. New box from Audi in 2009 at 51k and box serviced just before sale. Timing belt changed end of 2011. DRC checked at every service and mot and Audi have always commented how mint the car is. All services and mot's always at Audi with mot protection but has never failed. I used to have the inner arches and underneath cleaned and treated twice a year. Ok, some of you may not find the wood trim appealing but that's your opinion and your entitled to it just like I think the carbon trim looks cheap. If I had a double garage, it would be still with me. Cost me more to keep the garage heated all year round than the fuel to run it.
Only sold it as I am restoring my Triumph 2500 S extensively and needed the garage space.
As for the garage who now has possession of it, I have purchased 3 of my previous cars from there and no problems with the service.

Lol you had a bad day or something, I was only saying one bad experience always comes out of a car dealer every so often they can't always have the perfect car.
And it would fill me with more confidence the fact they have high end cars.

Any affiliation with said garage?? You really don't want to hear a bad word about them it seems.

Anyway, going back to your above post, why on earth do you think you're better off buying from a dealer with high end cars? If anything, the garage will probably pay less attention to something that's valued at circa £10k in a stable full of £100k+ motors!!

They beg the cars to start with , wash them, add the cost of a warranty to em and stick a higher than normal price on em ....there all the same, whether there selling high end or bargain basement.

You don't think they actually care about what their selling do you ? all they care about is how much they can get out of you on finance and how much they can rob you for your part ex.
The only difference between a dealer selling supercars or bargain basement run around's is the quality of the salesman's suit and the the coffee they offer you.

Well the top end salesmen Shop for suits at Asda and the bargain basement Shop at 'designer suits r us' from local car boots, and they all buy the coffee from Costco
