Best car I ever owned - hope it sold Alex.
Hi Mark,

Yeah it is your old one mate. It sold a couple of weeks ago, gutted to see it go. Even on the day of the sale i didn't think that it wanted to go as it popped a hose on the DRC. Even then i considered just keeping it but Patrick was adamant he was taking it. He promised to look after it though. It sounded amazing as it drove off.

I would totally agree with you as far as it being the best car i have owned.

Jimmy,

Keep looking mate. Hope you get something soon. Best of luck.

What you replacing it with Alex.....hard one to do. I'm even tempted to buy another RS4, although have a S4, M3, XKR, XFR and another ISF all buzzing around my head.

Not sure what to replace it with at the moment Mark. Might have to wait a wee while before i decide.

I'd rather not be sure what to get than to be like you and all things on my mind. What's your gut reaction going to be? Which one do you think you'll end up with??

Well had an ISF and RS4, so my head says an S4 and tune it (a bit). Prob is they look a bit dull. Surprisingly why I ruled out the 911. Well that and the worry about the engine IMS.
I've never had a M3 so thats why the V8 is on the list - but again they aren't very grunty....if you now what I mean.
My wife says a XKR (4.2 supercharged one - newer shape, either coupe/softop), but they are basically two seaters unless your kids have no legs.
My gut says XKF (5.0 ltr - lovely) but will have a higher mileage than the other cars on list to still be within budget.....and you know how I hate high miled car. Current 350z has only 37000!!

Did think about them....or more specifically M6 (convertible). Very cheap for what you get - but scary 2K vanos issues.
Tried a M5 Touring before I bought the ISF and me and the misses both preferred the ISF - just felt a bit nicer. Probably if I had the M5 for longer and got to rev the bugger I may have changed my mind.
