Hi All,
After owning the S4 for a few months I've decided it's time to start making a few modifications, although I made quite a few to my B7 RS4 and in all honesty I ruined the car, very conscience about not making the same mistake twice. Milltek, LED lights, stereo etc...
My S4 is a good spec as it is and I've read a lot on exhausts, but after the drone I had with the Milltek I don't think a new exhaust is going to be on the list.
My main item of interest is stage 2 from MRC, at £1,591 for this it seems like a good choice:-
"Stage 2 Hardware and Remap Upgrade: MRC Filter, MRC Pulley, MRC Hi Grip Belt, Silicon Intake Pipe, Modified Airbox, fitting, Dyno Time and MRC Stage 2 Remap".
Question is do cars with stage 2 and no exhaust modifications sound any different? Does it make sense to get the exhaust at the same time so the remap can take that into account?
Thanks!!
Daz

Re: Stage 2 cars sound any different?
When I had mine done it made very little difference. After it's now been bedded in for a few months there is a slight difference in the noise when on full throttle but nothing to worry about. As I keep saying there is little point in putting an exhaust on if you don't want the noise as that's all it gives you on the S4.

Thanks pmj, perhaps I just need to hear a few exhausts, the Milltek put me off big time!

Re: Stage 2 cars sound any different?
The only change noise wise ive really noticed since having the MRC stage 2 is the Supercharger whine when you give it some stick. Sounds bloody brilliant.
