Such an idiot - went a different way to work this morning and ended up kerbing rear alloy :-(( quite nasty as well :bash:

Gutted - I guess it was inevitable at some point with the 20" v spokes - but not when the car is only 3 weeks old :-((

Anyone know of a repair Shop on Cheshire they could recommend?

V spokes are a bit more of a specialist job because of the diamond cut finish. I actually had my stealer do two of mine. They did a good job.

If it makes you feel any better, I went with a friend to pick up his new 997 GT3 a few years back and he curbed two alloys on the first morning where someone walked out in front of him on a shopping street and he swerved to avoid her. He was livid, but this lady was very pregnant and very apologetic
Funnily, although not for him, that car was destined to end badly damaged as only a couple of months later, his son dragged the bar end of his mountain bike down the side of it scratching the paint and peeling the GT3 decals

I was there, then got two repaired last month. Today a Kensington & Chelsea kerb & I had a misunderstanding. I lost.

Where did you get a repair (being local etc)

I managed 2 years in my TTRS without a bodywork ding or kerbed alloy. It went back to Audi with perfect body work and 2 out of 4 wheels with minuscule dinks. My RS4 now has 3 kerned wheels, a dink in the drivers door and a rubbing mark on the rear bumper where I managed to reverse into neighbours car.....yes with sensors and camera :)

I did my first tonight, came round a corner in solid traffic both ways to find a paramedic making 3 lanes out of 2. I stopped, thought I'm not bumping the kerb, he pulls alongside and just looks at me, I thought FFS, I'll just try and pull in a bit more, then came that all too familiar crunching sound as you can hear the paint peeling off the rim!

Brace for p.taking at work on Monday !
