Yes, but the Tarmac will murder the bloke on the bike when he falls off!

Yeah, exactly
I love the speed of bikes, but I don't own one for that very reason

Also a one trick pony...sure great in a dry straight line but as soon as you throw in braking and turning cars really close the gap. I've seen plenty of instances where very very fast bikes are held honest by averagely fast cars on track. Not knocking bikes but just not my thing.

I did a run in the RS5 I currently have
This is two up, 12.5deg and half a tank of fuel

For reference though, I also did a run in a mates newish 991 turbo without using launch control and also 2 up 12.5deg;

That car is serious

Anybody else had a crack at this?? Be interesting to see if anyone comes close to the time in the Chris Harris video. I'll be picking up a vbox soon as my car arrives :)

Quick 3.2 to 60 with no launch and loads of wheel spin. I'll find a better road tonight and do a load of runs

Any nonce can sit in a car in straight line and change gear,especially a DSG auto,I reckon my 10 year old could almost do it,it's not much harder than his x box :biggrin3: I would be fighting power wheelies until over 150 mph on my s1000rr bmw and wearing a grin I don't get from my RS4.....sorry but it's how it is!

Blimey, dissecting the figures 0-60 in 3.60 looks good, but yes you'd imagine it would get to 30 mph in less than 1.78?
