I think the RS4 lads expected a longer section as it was 12 hours filming it. Anyway let us know when they get back to you with a date.

The fuel consumption on the AMG and RS6 was more than I expected for a modern green engine :)

Oh dear oh dear...

This episode was just shown.

The less said about the cars being cheap alternatives to a new Transit, the better...

However, TIFF just drove the C5 and commented that this was an auto model, but to watch out for the gearboxes on the manual ones as they fail frequently!

Really?

Sounds like an anticlimax. Hopefully I can watch it online somehow?

The other alternatives were a Volvo R and a Subaru Spec B.
The researcher on the show should be allowed out once in a while, telling the nation to watch out for the manual Gearbox issues as this will cost up to £5k to rectify.
DRC was mentioned - not vey well IMO, so to the great unwashed could have portrayed the car as costing up to £7k to fix 2 common errors.
Armyair, the car looked spot on, but I guess they did not ask you for any more info/opinion on ownership!

I spoke to Tiff briefly on the day, he was told it only came in auto/tip, he's obvious getting on a bit and the memory is fading.....

I've been away for a few weeks and just saw the episode! Lmfao

Sulli is right; Tiff was told everything he would need to know about the 6 before he drove it.

As soon as I heard the words manual, I found myself shaking my head involuntarily.

It's been compared to many things in the past but a transit van is a new one on me! Lol
