Not 100% sure, moschops might know more :)

I think it's referred to as a glass coating, crystallises over the paint when the air gets to it. But Jay says there are glass coatings and then there are glass coatings.

Only thing underwhelming so far is the joke of the boot liner with bumper protector that just looks like a rough off cut from carpetright!

Yes it's a coating that cures over the paint work giving a glass type coating. Not cheap but the results are well worth it. :beerchug:
