Re: New golf r vs rs4
Saw the cloth seats for the first time and exterior colour in Tornado too, cloth seats are ok, red looked good though Dave.
Re: New golf r vs rs4
I have cloth seats in mine but would much prefer leather

No doubt that the Golf R is a brilliant capable car..but I personally still prefer the feeling the B7 RS4 gives. The RS has a type of character you don't find on many cars..at least not with less then 8 cylinders.Am I missing the point? Your comparing a brand new car against a 7 year old car, just goes to show how good the b7 is,as I would still rather be in one than a new golf R

Agree the RS4 is a great car, would prefer not to have to change, but the wife is divorcing me and typically after all the money, so I need a good fast car that isn't going to break the bank.
At £347 a month the Golf R ticks all the boxes.
Will be really sad to see the RS4 go, in the meantime I'm just enjoying the time we have left together.
