They did in Nov 2012 when I was there. Several Porsches, a number of Ferraris, a couple of AMG Mercedes, a Maserati, Audi's, BMW's, Range Rovers, Jaguars. Nice showroom and a pretty good organisation to deal with. They agreed to have mine looked over by GIlders who, on their 20 point express check, picked up that the DRC had failed on all four corners (so full marks to GIlders). And full marks to John Holland as they had the work done without quibbling

So you admit to using 95 octane (Morrisons don't do super unleaded)?RS04YOB wrote:I use Morrisons own fuel

Re: The best fuel to use in a RS4 B7 - many opinions
I asked them a few years ago why they don't and got the usual "there's no demand" reply - and when I asked whether they had ever done a survey to find out there was any demand or done a trial they said no. So they don't actually know how much demand there is for super unleaded and can't be arsed to find out - so I try and avoid spending any of my cash at Morrisons.John Johnson wrote:No they don't

Re: The best fuel to use in a RS4 B7 - many opinions
Well I put £20 morrys fuel in and my RS4 hocked farted and jittered the whole way through the £20, then tried Sainsburys super unleaded, was a smidge better but still was jumpy and jittery, then put £50 V Power in and = GONE TOTALLY, smoother tighter and nippier so something must be wrong for my RS4 to be a crap drive on supermarket crap!!??PetrolDave wrote:I asked them a few years ago why they don't and got the usual "there's no demand" reply - and when I asked whether they had ever done a survey to find out there was any demand or done a trial they said no. Re: The best fuel to use in a RS4 B7 - many opinions
the only time in the past 15 years i've used (in my cars - courtesy cars a different matter!) 95 ron was in my Monaro VXR when there was all that hoo haa about petrol shortages and there were queues everywhere at the petrol stations (not the best time to buy a 6 litre engined car but hey ho!)
put £10 worth in, drove off forecourt and it was running really rough and the "check engine light" came on straight away- it felt like it was running 5 cylinders not 8 !
next day they had V-power / optimax back, filled up with that and all was well again. there was then one other occasion where I had to put 95 ron in and the same happened
as others have pointed out you are probably costing yourself more money using the cheaper fuel in the long run so personally I wouldn't even consider it unless in an emergency..
not sure anything is wrong with your car - its just like a fine wine connoisseur - it doesn't like the cheap sh*t
