The best fuel to use in a RS4 B7 - many opinions

Post by WilkinsonRS4 » Sun Mar 23, 2014 1:09 am

So I've got a remapped B7 RS4 2006 and I've tried normal supermarket unleaded and my car kangaroos all over so I use mostly Shell V Power and it's better I also use Sainsbury's Super Unleaded and it's fine and sometimes Tescos Super Unlesded I see zero difference in mpg so people lets gave a debit - what is actually the best fuel for:-

+1 MRC managed a bit more bhp and NM on my stage 2 with Tesco99. Otherwise VPuff. I think all round, I'd go VPuff all the way...

Strictly V-power for me.

It gives you a nitro+ boost.

Mine ran like a dog on cold starts with Sainsburys 97 and always run it in previous high performance cars with no bother.

Gave it a full tank of Tesco 99 and it was night and day! Not looked back since.

How many tight arses do we have that run 95 then? Never run anything recognized as a performance car on anything less than 97 but i know people do. Part the package and running costs for me.

Never ever stuck in anything below 98 or V Power.

Bit of confusion - always thought Shell V Power Nitro plus is 98, but read various sites saying its 99 ron. Always though it was 98 and confirmed by Doug at MRC after my last visit...

So?

Second that. Especially when one wants to listen to that V8 scream. I can see the fiver's flutter out the exhaust.
