Will be interesting to see how the new XE fares against the usual suspects.

Given its aluminium build, likely weight saving and focussed dynamics it may well give them a run for their money.

After all we all know the A4 drives like a piece of cardboard (and looks like one too)

I've seen one of these on the road - one of the best looking and sounding cars I've ever seen.

I didn't think the coupe was properly available yet. I'm looking forward to seeing one.

Customer deliveries start in April, although Jose Mourinho has the first customer car, as brand ambassador.

There are however a number of coupes on the road flying around, mostly around the West Mids as they will be JLR cars which are still in testing for future product developments ;)

The one I saw all the way down here in Cornwall was a gorgeous deep red colour. Must've been a demo/press fleet car I reckon.

I don't think it's a case of RS going soft?

I think it's just other manufacturers are developing fast versions of their range.

There's still a massive market for high end fast motors dispute what the green brigade etc say?

The lastest RS6 is hadly soft....but if tyre smoking , donuts and arse out on wet roundabouts is your "thing"...a RS model isn't for you IMO?

I certainly aren't a driving god...and for the conditions in the UK a fast RS is perfect for me.

Horses for courses I suppose.....

Must admit though I never "got" performance Jags, but that latest little two seater looks and sounds awesome!

I agree. THE XF all tarted up looks awful.

Like dad went away for a year and his 17 year old son done his car up while he was gone. The spoiler is ridiculous, as is that paint. I'm sorry but if you make a super jag, or Audi, or Mercedes in the large saloon car space, it still has to have an element of q-ship. The spoiler is a great example. We have never seen anything like that on any of the M , AMG, or RS cars that size other than the little retractable one on the RS7.

Had a play against one in the rs4 on bendy roads and comfortably pulled away.
that just measured the drivers. Congrats...you're a better driver than the other guy. Switch cars and you would obliterate him while he drove your rs4...because now the better driver has another 150 hp underfoot. I don't care if the chassis isn't as nice.
