Deer was a goner - hit my rear O/S and bounced off, the 530d behind me finished it. Called the Ashdown forest Ranger and scooped it up and took it to a quite place to 'let nature do the rest'...

That's sounds like a nasty experience, not good!!..you gotta be thankful it didn't run into the front, could have been much worse, at least no one was injured, except for the deer that is

Whilst a total ball ache as it is, yes the front would have been a real mess. At least nothing mechanical like steering, suspension etc. was affected. Indeed everything considering no one was injured. It was a big b*****d - bloody big hoofs too...

Silas took me for a quick trip - it's absolutely bloody gorgeous and the kinda spec I would want - that gearbox deffo is the nuts - I came home and spec'd one up on audi.co.uk and now I am sitting here thinking about the finances - however Mr sensible will prevail I think!

Good to see you all - bring on March and the odd chance it won't bloody rain!

Sync - utter cluster F**K! I even cleaned the bloody thing Friday and straight in the garage to gave it a nice coat of R222! It's going straight in to the body shop Monday. I had all intentions for Ide Hill, hoping it's back. By Ide Hill it would've had the JCWF system too - hoping my timeline is still good in Feb for A LOT OF WORK. MRC stage 2 and de-coke early March - determined to get the old gal back on her pristine legs...

Great meet guys, always nice to see that it's so well supported by the usual guys, along with some new faces each time. Sorry I didn't get to meet you all, nice to see the B8's showing up in good force.

Neil, sorry to read about the deer - I often photograph those sizable beasts at close quarters, so to have one step out on you must be a 'heart in mouth' moment. The important thing is that you're ok, the car looked great in the video you posted the other day; so hopefully the body Shop will get it looking good again.

Scaff - the wrap looks great, happy birthday and enjoy the clunge...
