My second motive is to put some cash away and see if I can get an R8 next year.
:sekret: Good move Nicky, the pot will get fuller, quicker this way.

Wow, only just seen this, sad times! Needs must, I'm in house mode atm, bid and lost on one yesterday. Next! Currently advertising my plate which I've had for seven years now, if the right offer comes I'll take it, bit more money in the kitty. S4 might go at some point - especially if renovating and / or parking on-street

What deal are you getting on a Polo GTI. Still think that's a Mahooosive mistake...

A Octavia VRS estate is £187 pcm on lease with 3 months down...stonking deal on lingcars.

I've sacked off the Polo now. I've just bought a Scirocco outright which I'll use as my deposit on the next RS/R8 I get, managed to get 2.5k off it so only paid 11.5k and got warranty and servicing etc. Hopefully it will trade in at 8-9k next year. Plus I don't want to be tied into a lease as ill want to change as soon as the mrs has passed her test.

Plus a VRS estate may be a little big for her to learn in.

Hopefully it all works out, we shall see.

I've bought it off Monmotors who are the umbrella of Bath Audi, I used the loyal customer line with th and I'll do it again. If they continue to help me I'm happy to spend my money with them.

Good car Scirroco. We had a 2.0TDI BMT 140PS manual. Pulled really well, handled great and would get 70mpg, yes 70MPG on an economy run.....mental! Looks great also

Good buy

Glad you sacked off the Polo

And sell it private next year, won't be difficult

You've done the right thing no way would you of been happy driving a Polo ,the Sirocco is a nice car and a happy medium .You just need to start a new thread now on the Sirocco.

The happy medium was what I was aiming for. It still has auto lights, auto wipers, sensors etc which I am now so reliant on.

As mentioned I have got some mods planned already!
