I bought the seats at the edition38 show and specced the backs in that finish to tie in with the interior. I've not paid for the trim work yet and I'm refusing delivery as they are unacceptable. The company is the other end of the country so logistically if I'm unhappy with the pictures it makes no sense to have them delivered. If they don't fix it ill be onto trading standards because the quality is nowhere near the demo seat they had with them which was why I got them to trim it.

I think your :<beep>_you: being a prick is simply a reflection of your own inadequacies and highlights how unimaginative you're. But that's just my opinion and doesn't require a reply as it has nothing to do with you. :assflash:

Cheers, by and large I've let them get on with it. As per the bentleys it's subjective. I like them and they will stay in my collection and be used on various occasions but I've got 35 or so sets with about a fifth of them for the RS so it'll obviously change as my mood changes :beerchug:

stuck up north for the foreseeable but after it comes out the Shop I'm not planning on using it until April/may anyway possibly depending what happens when I get banned

Daz, were the seats done in the Midlands?? They look wank
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

I don't actually know where they are based but they sounded a lot more southern than the Midlands. Hopefully get a reply from them this morning at start of play, I've got to stay up till 9th anyway. Going to go buy steaks for later for my birthday munch.

Happy Birthday.

Bummer about the seats. :( I thought MJ were the go-to guys for this kind of thing? Is that who did these or have I misunderstood?

Ohhhh, that's a cracker! And yes, you're conforming nicely. We're going to be great mates.

So mister current affairs, why is it such a crime to correct spelling and grammatical errors? It seems to get everyone in a rage but the only person who's actually done wrong is the person too lazy to learn Unglish. I'm an atrocious speller and my grammar isn't far above below average but whenever I'm corrected, I feel enlightened or I feel disappointed in myself, so learn and tried harder.

Intolerance raises standards. English is this country is a fucken joke.

Now, back to those seats.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Half my family is West Indian and they have a better command of the English language than people living here, depressing but true. One good thing about Catholic schooling ;). Surprise teacher (preacher) buttsecks is less good, depending on how you swing.

The seats were not done by MJ, they were done from a firm that had a massive recaro stand at the biggest vw show off the year with various examples off their work. Jurisprudence led me to the easy option off buying and getting them trimmed at the one Shop. In retrospect this seems to have been a mistake. Still awaiting a reply.

Daz, I will pm you in a bit as I might be able to throw a few quid your way for some parts off the donor car if you are interested? Would be interior bits that you could either sell to me or swap + cash your way.

No probs. Just hitting the hay just now though.

update on the seats after contact is they're stripping them back down, the recaro logo is actually there but embossed instead of stitched so they're redoing that and they going to tighten up the fit and then get better pictures.....
