Can someone please tell me what is a realistic deal I should be able to achieve

£7k finance support plus 8% discount has been suggested on this tread ?? This sounds absolutely bonkers

If my man maths is right that's £48,200 for a £60k list car ???

Unfortunately I can not PM so please post replies cheers

Yes £7k and 8% is standard.

Some have got £7k and 10%.

The dealers have 14% discount from Audi UK, so even if they retain just 4% of a £50k car, that's £2k, plus the finance doc fee, plus the opportunity to earn further from GAP/Autoglym/service pack etc ...

So I can buy a brand new Rs4 to my exact spec...say £62k list for less than £50k ??

£62k
-£7k (finance deal)
-£6.2k (10% discount)
Total -£48,800

Sorry to double check and spell it out.....it's I'm just about to buy a used car and checking out the ads suggests they are all circa £50k+

If I can have brand new one (all be it wait circa 5 months for delivery) for the same price (or even less) seems like a no brainer

Or haggle on a used one and get it even cheaper. Delivery more likely to be nearer 6 months and you may not be able to get the additional 2%.

Buy brand new. You'll probably end up paying more for demo/used.

Not sure now, there's so many cars in the network, at some point those dealers sat on stock are going have to shift them.

There's a car up for 49k that's Nov 2013, bet that's get able for 5-10% less.

Also need to check the finance offer, car needs to be delivered by end March to qualify.

As in, NOT extended?

That puts a different spin on things. I wonder whether there's just too much stock and too many orders floating about now.

I have a car on order. As I understand the £7k contribution, £5k of this comes from Audi, the other £2k from the dealer. The best that I could do was 10% (pre vat) plus £5k. I was under the assumption that the £2k portion of the £7k comes from the dealers margin. I am sure that DK will be able to clarify whether this is the case or not??

Best deal that I was offered was £49k for a car listing at £59,770, although I ended up going with a dealer who I've bought a few cars from in the past. They couldn't match this deal but got within £500.

1991 Mk2 Golf GTI 8v, Big Bumper in Oak Green

On Order:
B9.5 RS4 Avant in Daytona

Previous:
3 x B7 Avants in Sprint, Phantom and Daytona (Loved that car!!)
3 x B8 Avants in Daytona, Phantom and Ibis
2 x B9 Avants in Missano (x2), Daytona

I suppose well see on then1st of January as I've Ben told it has been extended into q1 of 2014...

Either way as long as a deposit is paid before the 31st you'll secure the £5k from Audi and not be subject to the 1,8% price increase either.

There will be a further campaign confirmed for Q2 which may be a continuation of the current, or something different....these cars are no longer strong enough to sell on their own without manufacturer support, its essentially a 2010 RS 5 tarted up
