Done it!

Post by Outtlaw » Fri Dec 13, 2013 10:21 pm

Well after a lot of soul searching my wife and I finally decided to place a deposit on a new RS4.
Very difficult decision because we were both soo happy with our B7 RS4 that we had for 5yrs, we thought we would never sell,
but the time seemed right for us.

Anyway spec...

Nogaro Blue
Sports pack with V Spokes
Black optics
Bucket seats
Suede steering wheel
Panoramic sunroof
Carbon engine bay
privacy glass
Tech pack
Advanced key
hill hold assist
B&O sound pack

Cant wait to say the least.
And a big THANKS to Abyss for posting up where to get a good deal, :beerchug:

Congrats. Nogaro too..........., very nice!! I've also ordered. Abyss also pointed me in the direction of the best deal, although I didn't order with Kings Lynn in the end. I managed to use their quotation to get a better deal more local. I've not gone mad on the options list but am still quite excited to say the least. I've ordered:

Daytona Grey
Sports Pack
20" V Spokes
Privacy Glass
Black leather Piped Rock Grey
Heated Seats
Hill hold
B&O

I've had 2 B7 RS4 Avants previously, then spent 2 years in TDI S Lines and a Diesel BMW 5 series M sport. Can't wait to have a V8 back in my life.

Roll on March.
Current:
B9 RS4 Avant in Missano
1991 Mk2 Golf GTI 8v, Big Bumper in Oak Green
1960 VW Beetle 1200 (6 volt, 34hp!)
1999 Porsche Boxster 2.5

On Order:
B9.5 RS4 Avant in Daytona

Previous:
3 x B7 Avants in Sprint, Phantom and Daytona (Loved that car!!)
3 x B8 Avants in Daytona, Phantom and Ibis
2 x B9 Avants in Missano (x2), Daytona
1 x B8 S4 Avant in Sprint

Nice spec aled, did also consider Daytona but thought i,d chance Nogaro.
Im guessing there's going to be some busy dealers come march time!
Mine's looking more like April though but gonna be worth the wait.
Had to go for, what i think, something special to make selling the B7 worth it, because it was such a great and good looking car.

Wow Peter, Tristan mentioned you'd gone exclusive but didn't go into great detail.

You've ordered a fab car there and I can't wait to see it :)

Great guys down there, and glad they're looking after another fellow member

I'd cancel Carbon Engine cover if I were you...might as well waste your money on beer

Cheers guys,
yes Abyss, Tristan seems a nice guy ill look forward to meeting him though will probably be the day i pick the car up.
Dave seeing as i don't drink a lot i thought the £460 for the carbon engine trim over the 3yrs was well worth it LOL.
As for the heated seats I've ordered them aswell,
I didn't think you couldn't have them heated? on the configuration you have to spec them. Fronts only.
Will have to phone to double check now.

I'm pretty sure that as you've ordered the Bucket seats, seat heating is included as part of the option. Not got the brochure in front of me but seem to remember that if Buckets are ordered then heated rear seats are the only other option.

This. Exactly what mine was like in the C6 when I bought it just over 3 years old. Hasn't worn well. Having it re-trimmed.

Noggy will look awesom btw.

Isn't it £700ish for the suede wheel and gear stick - could you not get the std one re-trimmed for a couple of hundred and get your carbon engine cover and get your beers.....?!
