few updates, ive fitted bluetooth and partly fitted a reversing cam, the wheels are now on and looking sexy, just not had chance to get any decent pics ,

ive been wanting to do a brake upgrade for a while and when the fronts done ill start on the rear,

i was kindly given some disks from Brett a member on here who went out of his way and met me early one morning, would have loved to had a chat and look more at his motor but didnt have time, there were the most sexyest set of ceramic brakes i have seen.

so they were in need of a skim and tlc but the size of these things is awesome RS6 390mm

Image

i had my friend skim them up, they didnt need much, he took off 0.5mm, i still need to clean up the bells a bit but not going crazy as ive not even fitted them yet.

Image

will keep you updated on these,

next was the oil and water cap, i know everyone is doing the R8 one but i dont like those really, i think its the yelow on the caps, so i bought the ones for the porsche 911, i knew these wouldnt fit from the start but knew they wernt far off. the coolant fitted fine but the oil needed some fettling, i used the lower part of the standard cap and the top part of the new one, dremmel and epexy later and voilla.

Image

also fitted the revolution carbon intake which sounds sexy and looks the nuts, but makes my other buts look yellow.

Image

Image

finally ive sent a few bits to the guys at Argon, mainly interior bits but a couple of new exterior bits, will show you more when i get them.

Great updates rick, need more pics though.

What's you plans for the rs6 discs, you gonna source some bigger calipers or stick with the oe rs4 items?

Stick with the originals, the rs6 s are 6 pots, so should be ok, will have a trial fitting at the weekend,

What would you like pics of?

Good stuff mate,

For some reason I think it's rotors you've got? Is that right?

Pics of it with the wheels regardless :)

Yeah have the ever popular rotors, but I wanted concave and they seem to be the only ones that fit correctly and have the maximum concave, not too fussed they may be over done as they look sexy as he'll. Tried to get pics but it's always dirty at the minute,

Definitely mate, I was looking at rotors too as a replacement for the bbs however as Vick's, now hulk's, avant is on them, they'd be almost identical so thought against it

my disks have been skimmed to trial for the car , they have had 0.6mm taken off to clean them up, done by my mate.

Image

a few of my carbon bits have been finished off today and sent out for me on monday, cant wait to get them fitted, theres still a few more parts being made by the guys at argon and should be done for me after the new year. Great service from these guys

Image

will hopefully get out to get some pics of the new wheels this weekend.
