Used gocompare and came out at £463 with LV. Called Sky and they have beaten it down to £455 with protected no claims and my wife on the policy.

I am happy with £455, don't think I'll get much better than that at the moment.

Just got mine for £300. 300 compulsory excess, 250 voluntary, gf as named driver, windscreen cover etc etc.

Since I've had my car my insurance has gone 900+, 700+, 400+, 300. Different company each time.

Just renewed mine yesterday. Renewal quote with Royal Sun Alliance was £444 which I was happy with. Curiosity made me try another broker, and with a better level of cover, including a historical SP30 (4 1/2 years ago which bumped it up by an extra £19 odd), came to £317 including class1 business use. That's with £100 accidental damage xs and £250 theft xs with no voluntary xs AND no xs for glass cover! Surprisingly, it's also with RSA - extremely happy!!!

What would be the best insurer for RS6 C6 estate with approx the MRC 800 conversion level of power, for private (2k miles) and business (8k miles) use, 3 years NCB, Tunbridge Wells area, business Class 2 use for up to 2 named drivers, with NCB protection?

Try Adrian Flux, they do agreed valuation on modified cars. I was checking what a TTS charger would add to my insurance and most wouldn't quote me, they came back with just over £1200 for me (27, 5 years NCB, 8k miles, commuting + social, parked on the street).

Best thing really is just Shop around, no-one on a forum is going to know for sure who'll give you the best deal.

Just renewed mine 424 pounds, fully comp with nationwide.missus named driver..protected no claims, windscreen cover, premium breakdown cover (uk and abroad) 100 pound excess...could have got it cheaper if I would have gone with one of the two bob companies, but not worth the agro IMO,if you do have an accident the last thing you need is an insurance company who are useless and you have to keep chasing there arses..
Happy new year.. :beerchug:
