Sakimano - I don't think you can separate them without needing to replace all can you - I thought they'd become damaged at the join?
Are we talking about the little braided lines that rub on one another till a hole forms?
They have a little rubber donut that acts as a a separator but it moves out of position allowing the two hoses to rub each other into a frenzy. A popular solution is to use zip ties to keep them separated or to cover the hoses with a length of split open garden Hose.
There was a technical service bulletin about this - all it says is to cable tie the rubber separator in place so it can't move.
There's so many possible issues with the front oil cooler... The crimps on the pipes are not stainless so rust and can pop off, the fittings corrode on the cooler, the pipes can rub, and the solid "over the top" pipe to the other side of the cooler rad can fatigue.
I would actually say that the JHM cooler pipes + some anti corrosion protection on the fittings to the cooler would be a good solution.
