Yeah, I got return to invoice gap over 4 years for £350 from Audi. All the others seem to have a £25k cap.

It's exactly that.

Order placed. £53k for £63k spec. including GAP and Autoglym (£1200 RRP). Might not be the best deal in the world but I am happy….. :)
He added them on at cost….something like £400 and £250 respectively…didn't change the monthlies……?? End of the day I was happy to take them as part of the negotiation……

spec is…..went with the crowd on colour and wheels I'm afraid….….

Sepang Blue - (had Sprint B7) I did enquire about the matte grey they do on the RS6 but at £5k+ I passed….almost went for Noggy Blue…but even at £2K
Door mirrors – folding auto dimming
Heated front seats
Bang and Oulfsen sound system
Privacy Glass
Reversible load floor mat (save the rear bumper from scratches)
Sports Pack with V’s
Tech Pack
Advanced Key
Audi Hill Hold
4 Year Warranty
Alu Pack
All Nappa Seats
Rear Side Airbags

Shows the state of the nation sales wise although they did say they'd done their annual allocation and some…….roll on March 31st.

Oh, and they only took £2k deposit.

Sounds good.

If I were to order new it would have to Exclusive Colour and Ceramics else I'd just buy lightly used in my spec

That's a lot of car for £53k, I'm surprised at the amount of discount available on a factory order, well done

I did think about it….Nimbus, Nogaro, matte grey……..Ceramics would be useless to me…I never track. I did look at used but I don't have/don't want to tie cash up in a highly depreciating asset and the finance deal on a new car was more attractive for my specific spec. requirements vs. used.

Buckets are essential in my opinion.

Drove the RS 4 without at the Audi event and support was very poor compared to my RS 5.

Ceramics I agree may not be neccessary. I don't think I need them on my RS (I am considering selling them).

Keep your ceramics.
Its one of a handful in the country with ceramics.
Take it on track, see the magic diff in action.

I did tick the bucket box, then unticked it a few time. Not worth £2k to me.

Does seem crazy you can order a new one with zero miles in decent spec (albeit not ceramics) for the same £51,980 as that 11,400 mile 2012 car

Agree with DK though that it would be very special to have a Nogaro Blue.

Nogaro blue could be nice :)
Not sure if it'd suit the car though

Like this one ;

Personally though, buckets make an RS4. There was no alternative in my eyes

Agreed, the rest of the interior is nice but pretty similar to mainstream models, and flat bottom steering wheels are now found in golfs ffs! needs buckets to tell it apart from good spec s line :audibash: The bits the used to pull you into RS ownership are now common place on much lesser models, can't fault audis business ethics but they need to pull something a bit more special off for the RS model IMO.

Flat bottom steering wheels have been on the Golf foe a while, mk5 r32 had one!

RS6 is the daddy. Think I'm parking my R8/911 now.

The problem I see with an RS6 is about the two minutes of driving license I'll own
That easy access to the huge turbocharged torque wave is super addictive and I found that when overtaking a group of say 2-3 cars from 60mph, where I'd pass the last one in my RS4 at 100, in the RS6 I was doing 130 and not even realising it
Truly lovely car and if I wasn't saving for something else, then I'd chop my b8 in for one tomorrow - I genuinely didn't expect to like it as much as I did after the short 1hr test drive I had first time, but 400miles & 24hrs later, I was converted (I'd even forgive how ugly the rear is)
