Back to what I said at the top of the page about chasing extra horses....now that the figures have been put up...
Most of the modded cars stage1/2..amd/mrc tuned (mine included)had lost power..mine was dynoed at amd a few months ago and made 434. Yesterday it made 414.5.. Is it worth all the money we spend, when you had stock motors with various mileage from early twenties to 70k getting 370 to 390..I am running stage 1 and was thinking of stage 2 but I am not going to bother as it seems all the modded cars lose some of that extra( expensive costing) power within six months..
Mine too ran at AMD couple of months back and dynoed at 402Bhp and yesterday at 358Bhp with a stage 1 also. I must say after the carbon clean (which is being done as we speak)I think I will leave it there with the performance mods.
Ben did suspect a vacuum leak but to be fair but I hadn't noticed any difference between then and now.
Looking at some of comparisons between stock and modded (with exception of the mental supercharger) It Just proves that after all the money we throw at performance mods, there doesn't seem much more to be squeezed out of this already highly tuned n/a lump.
I will update hopefully at the end of the week with new figures after carbon clean and rectified suspected vac leak.
