Time to let go :(

Post by Cheeseboytim » Fri Oct 18, 2013 2:34 pm

Hey all, after many months of joy the time has come to part with my mistress.
She's a 54 plate avant completely un modified from new, 108k miles, avus silver, black optic pack, tints removed at factory( previous owner?), new cambelt and fittings plus pump and thermostat changed, full Audi service history from new including extra bits changed, has the usual little chips from motorway use plus one particular inch long nasty just below drivers window. I can go into specifics if there's interest, but I was mainly after price to sell at having had a look through auto trader etc 10-11k seems about right. Any advice or help with the ad appreciated.
Cheers, Tim.

10-11k? You'd be waiting for a long time ... 7-8k for sale.

what he said^^, I asked fontain, who I bought the car off and who arguably price their cars at the top end, to value the car I bought off them and it came in at 11k. Its, for comparison, only done 66k and has over a yrs inchcape warranty left and its a car they sold to me after buying back from the bloke they first sold it to, so they know the car inside out. Needless to say theres no point in selling it as I wont get another car that ticks the boxes the audi does for 11k.
She may be big and heavy but its whats on the inside that counts.....

Ah ok, I was just going off other prices, but obviously I'm unable/wouldn't dream to offer an warranty on a rs6!
Guess I'm lowering the asking price then, cheers guys :)

Well, put it up for £11k and see how it goes mate. Always good to see people trying to bash the prices down :bash: . At some point a good example c5 is hopefully going to creep up in price.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
