What 20" 7 Spokes Fit a B7 RS4

Post by DDalgarn » Wed Oct 09, 2013 12:55 pm

Hi all,

I`ve got a B7 RS4 with the standard 19" 7 spoke wheels but I`ve been considering a move to 20" wheels of the same design but I`m not sure if this causes any issues with rubbing etc.

If you can fit them with out any modifications what wheels fit, part number etc as I`ve seen a few sets on ebay but not sure if they are suitable.

i think the first set will fit fine , they are also 9inch wide and have the same offset as RS4 19" ET29 the other ones you show the offset is 46 so no good really as they will be 17mm further in the arch way too far in and may even foul the calliper
IF you want a slightly wider look ( most guys on here and myself included use hub centric spacers 8 and 10 mm)you could go with and offset of 21 mm or so , but an offset like that will be hard to find i think unless you get wheel made
Phantom black saloon ,PES M112 Supercharged 520ps/595nm K&N filter, 100 cell milltek cats, res valved milltek system. 8 and 10mm H&R spacers.H&R roll bars, "smoke chrome " alloy refurb. JHM Quickshifter, Bilstein B16 coilovers , uprated diff mount ,50/50 devils own WM kit so 1.4 litres/min in intake approx 10% more power and torque
1/4 mile 12.01 secs 123.5mph

I can't see the ebay ads as ebay is banned on work PCs, but essentially if you buy a 20x9 (5x112) wheel with ET29 and fit 255/30/20 tyres then you will have an identical size as standard so will rub just as much or little as your current set-up. Just watch what size the centre bore of the wheel is. The B7 has a centre bore of 57.1 but the later cars like the RS5 and B8 A4/RS4 have a larger bore of 66.6. This isn't a problem as £10 will buy you a set of spigots which just slot inot the wheel to make the bore the right size, but you just need to be aware otherwise you might get a bit of wobble if you don't put the spigots on.
I can't remember if audi make a 20x9 ET29 RS4 style alloy so just check as it might be a replica.

Just checked that first link. They would be a perfect fit, all you'd need is a set of spigots for the centre bore.
