I know Mike ;) , it's been a manic 2 days and haven't had a chance to get a good pic but i'll do a proper write up soon :) yeah maybe could have just removed the screw but at least this way if they settle a bit then I still shouldn't see any issues - i'm gonna have to go back for a carbon clean soon anyhow as my car is well down on power - they checked for vacuum leaks but that was ok - 355hp :( 392 after map.............. if I fancy it a tad lower i'll just get them to adjust them then.

Mine was only 403PS after mods and map.
355 to 392 is quite big jump, sounds like there may have been a vacuum issue which maybe got inadvertantly sorted when they were checking for issues. 392 with mods now just sounds like a carbon clean is needed.

Nice One Graham....look forward to seeing it on the 20th!

Interesting this. I fitted 15mm on the back and 10mm on the front yesterday and had removed the arch liner bolts a few weeks back. Went out for a drive yesterday and really odd. Its catching on the o/s front but nowhere else. I'm gonna check the ride height as when I looked at the car its almost like the front o/s is low and the rear n/s is high....need to get in on level ground this morning to check, however the spacers have made a difference to the "stance" and girth....Pics to follow

When I first changed my wheels I had rubbing. Then I got my drc fixed and lowered it and the rubbing stopped.

Sorry forgot to add, the moral of the story is get the pressure checked in your shocks.

OK thanks Mike. Is this an Audi only check fot the shock pressures or can an Indi do it? Also what should the pressures be?

Unit20 are the only indy with the machine to repressurise, but I'm not sure what you need to just check the pressure. I've seen the pressures on here before but can't remember off hand, think it was about 12 to 14, and I'm guessing that's psi not bar.

Ok cool, thanks Mike. Get this......I've just checked the ride height on a dead level surface as my garage floor is dead plumb bot length and width. Ride height on n/s is a mm under 67cm whereas on the o/s its at 66cm! Also having fitted the 15mm rear spacers the n/s is protruding more than the o/s......WTF??? I've goton on to Ben @ AmD and going to get the car in to them to check as something is definitely not right. Pics attached

Yea get it back to Ben mate to check that out. Mine is 64cm at the back, is it those larger spacers stopping you going any lower?

It's no wonder your wheels rub if they stick out that much!

It's probably lower on one side cos the dead prostitute you keep in the boot has slid across to one side after going round a roundabout too fast. Try taking the corpse out and measuring again.

Ah feck you've tumbled me!! Its actually a load of Lady GagGag dolls I was going to bring with me on the 20th! :bigblink:

Thing is Mike others have run 15s & 10s without issues. As Rick says it may just need raising a tad to overcome the slight rubbing, however Im still at a loss as to why one side is sticking out more than the other at the back! :bash: :bash: Going back to AmD either Sat or next Monday so will be sorted then....I hope :bigblink:

If one side sticks out more than the other, it might need to go on a jig
