Audi are investigating the intermittent fault to my gearbox

Apparently the ecu has an encrypted serial that flags a red code when plugged into the dealers vag unit, if it's missing (ie been flashed)babyboss wrote:Why ecu replacement ?

They said the tech guy coming down can tell if the ecu or the chip has been changed
I can't verify any of this but they do want to check it
Mines stock so I am not bothered, it is a hassle thou
