Mmm, I am not convinced that is the case in the RS4 and wasn't the case in the C6 when pushed.

Doing it once, fine, doing it repeatedly, err not so fine.

Audi_driver79 I might be getting in touch with teeside thanks for the heads up. As scotswood road Audi are terrible and I've been to silverlink wanted a extended drive or the car for a day atleast ideally. But they haven't got back in contact, they're after sales here I'm not gonna run around them. I don't they understand if your going to be parting with this sort of cash for a brand new car. A 20 min drive isn't going to let u you know what it's like. Terrible service always from local garages they should be ashamed. That a customer who his within a 20 min drive of both garages. Travels all the way to Lincoln Audi where they are fantastic. And have purchased 3 audis in the last 2 years. Also that looks great in the blue, surprised none of the garages have opted for the sports exhaust schoolboy error. We want to hear that sound haha what happened to demonstrators being fully loaded, nowadays they seem to be on a tight budget well atleast here in the north east hahah.

Teesside dealership seems to be redeeming itself as they seem to be getting new deliveries every day and the place is always buzzing if you do speak to Lucy M1R XE then mention Mark pointed you in her direction just so she knows. I know what you mean about poor customer service, I run a pub and I can't understand why some people are so lazy or just don't care to follow up or be courteous when they have a chance of a sale or just get a good reputation.

Have to say I like the Estoril Blue but then I am biased as mine is Mugello Blue, btw that demo car was only on 966miles when I dropped it back off!

Don't know if any of you have seen the vid on YouTube Audi RS6 2013 starting up and brutal exhaust sound. The exhaust tips seem to be silver. Not too sure if its the sports exhaust or not. But watch it he starts up sounds good then starts revving. Then he must press something the whole sound changes and starts cracking pops for fun. Did any of you experience this when you had the car did it sound like that. Just so I know for when I get one for a extended test drive thanks.

Engine to dynamic in ADS. Same as RS4. Sports exhaust has black tips and is louder again.

i found the car in dynamic mode was pretty average until you boot it and the revs build, then the engine sounds start coming in nicely (prob around 5k in the rev range - but hard to say as was looking at the road more). The only trouble is that by the time you get the car going, the road had run out and you had to chuck the anchors on to get into a corner!

Drive it in manual and you soon get the noise and you can keep the revs up. Awesome noise.

Doodlebug correct. Sounds unreal in Manual when ur revving up and holds on to gears unlike C6 and actually hits the limiter almost get machine gun like firing haahha. It's great

Also, when you go into individual settings on the drive select you can set the exhaust to dynamic without setting the engine to dynamic. I can't quite remember what they call it but its something like engine noise option. It at the bottom of the list of options on individual. This was on one without a sports exhaust option. :beerchug:

Thanks for that RS phantom that must be right. Everyone's going on about sports exhaust is black wich is also probably correct. But seen vids and nearly all have silver exhausts and quiet then do something and they're popping for fun. Defo give it a go like mate thanks for the heads up.
