Nope, don't understand at all and think you are mental for selling before you get to spend some time with it!!!!!! I was forced to sell a car to help my ex (were together for 10 years) out with money problems. Regretted it from the moment I put the ad up and showed her the door less than a month after I sold the car. Current other half is far more understanding and knows exactly what happened the last time I was forced to do anything with my cars ;).
Current:

23' C8 RS6 Vorsprung - 23' RS E-Tron GT Carbon Vorsprung

Gone:

Do you, by any chance, think you've stumbled into a different forum? You do know where you are, right? A sign of weakness is "blood in the water" for the sharks.

I feel your pain but you can easily tell Herr Führer that to sell it once all problems are sorted is a false economy, in fact, it's downright retarded. Keep it at least 3 months.
No matter where you go, there you are.

Depends on if you get a good one or a lemon as far as I am concerned and also, anyone going in the "supercar with a boot" market and not being prepared to lose their ass in repairs, possibly didn't do enough research and really weigh up the what ifs enough. Please don't think I am having a go, simply my opinion on it is all.

A year and a half of falling apart is a lot to take though, RS6MTM is just being a wuss though.

Being a wuss? I simply dont have the money to throw at the car. We cant afford it at the minute and the decision to sell is as much mine as it is hers. Since buying the car in April I have so far spent £5,500 on repairs and I have driven it for ONE day. A total of 80 miles. In what world does that make sense? Certainly not mine

I understand your reluctance to throw good money after bad at a car however I'm a little bemused why you wouldn't keep it after spending £5.5k on repairs as you have spent the money for the next owners enjoyment.

To me it's almost like buying a new car on a balloon loan and then handing it back on month 1 knowing you still have to make the payments!

I hope your not been pressured too much as it will only cause resentment. Everyday I drive mine my attachment gets deeper!

+100 to everything said above. Makes no financial sense at all. Good luck with the sale and hope the new owner comes on here and doesn't have any faults for a year.
Just a quick question though - Did you buy the RS6 cause you have always wanted one, OR did you buy it like some that have been and gone cause it's an RS6??

Thanks all for the replies (although it does seem to have gone off on a tangent  ) and offers of cars for sale, nothing has ticked the box just yet though
chunky79 wrote:How about cognac interior? Nick Johnson has a black one for sale but stupidly overpriced, might be worth a punt at £15k!
Yeah I really like the Plus after having one previously but with out coilovers this one just seems a bit rich, even if I was to haggle to 15k there is still a big bill looming in the future!
SgBarker wrote:Hi mate. Could have what you're looking for if you don't mind a little project.

Looking to sell my '53 RS6. Black, black leather, black roof lining. Black everything infact. 85k miles.

One slight issue, it's leaking steering fluid badly! Other than that perfect. Had the gearbox rebuilt, and brand new intercoolers less than a year ago and the DRC replaced by Audi a couple years ago. It's stage1 remap to 520bhp. With milltek system.
Selling as I can't afford to keep her anymore. (Change of job)

I'd be looking for around £9000 before the steering fluid leak, but I know this can be a big job. So offers around £7000

Let me know if interested.
Steve
Again thanks alot, but really just want something I can get in and drive for a while, I'm sure this will make a great bargain for somebody though.

If anyone else is considering selling up let me know, again really after an avant in a dark colour, daytona, mugello or basalt black, and really want the black optics pack (it just sets the car off for me)

Magpie, I'm thinking of selling mine. Usual love/hate story: love it since last few years on few occasions it sees light of day, hate having my pocket emptied. As you see it had most major stuff done recently.
