APR's website shows the ECMS system as not functional on the B8.5 so I think its not going to work :( I think you can still specify what fuel you will run and map to that.

As soon as I find out I'll post back here :)
Yeah I had seen that about EMCS which I have had before great feature with anti theft etc also

Please let us know :biggrin3:

Lol - Thats a given, dyno will be done! I know it's not going to give as impressive figures as MRC's but I willing to trade that for going through the OBD.

Ironically I'm going to go straight to stage 2, so some mechanical work is needed anyway, but I'm told it looks identical to a stock pulley :)

Hopefully not long to wait now.

Yep the pulley has been made the same colour as stock :bigblink:
Stage 2 and pulley should be around 450-460 BHP on 98 ron :biggrin3:

From what i have been told, the pulley makes a huge differce to Torque at the bottom end, not just top end, as superchargers aint variable vane like turbos so the only way to make a diiference at the bottom end is a pulley change which effectivly alters the ratio and pumps more air in for the same engine speed, fuel and other factors obviously mapped to suit.

Top end comes from the fact the standard map bleeds off boost from 5200rpm on, the remap holds on to some of this :kissmyrings:

Exactamundo! That's why I would prefer a milder stage 2 than a rampant stage 1. Lots of torque.

Not sure APR is 450bhp on stage 2, nearer 400bhp I think. Lets not forget about those extra torques though :)

TBH I am after a nice strong reliable drive rather than headline figures. I am sure it will be good.

Congrats, and enjoy the ride. Its certainly been a joy for me up until now, even without the remap.

Nice to meet you yesterday, nice looking car and I hope you enjoyed flamingo land! By the way I averaged 30.3mpg over the 111 miles back home which I was pretty impressed with.
