Yup, the 4 of us are actually planning on doing the "clear corner" mod which is what we call it here in the USA. At least that's what I assume you are referring to with "de-tango".
He's talking about using a silver-coated bulb in your turn signal (we call it your indicator) so the headlight cluster has no orange in it. You might be talkking about removing the US-spec reflector from the bumper gills? I'd say do both.
Yes, that is the clear corner mod although for us its a little more than simply replacing the bulb. I'm also having the US spec reflector wrapped so that it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb.

I've got a few pics to upload. Wondering whether I need to obscure the number plate. What's the rationale behind doing this? Is there a significant security threat?
Edit: answered my own question. Anyone can get the owner's details (including registered address) from the DVLA is they make up a legitimate excuse. Car parked in middle of my lawn etc.

All three were taken 6am yesterday morning. The last one makes for a decent desktop wallpaper when full size: http://db.tt/pP19lbmK

Quoting spacer size is almost pointless unless you tell you the offset too. :bigblink:

Is that 20/25mm per side or total per axle? 10.5" rims with 20 or even 10mm spacers must mean a high offset. Must be about ET40 with 10mm spacers per side or ET50 if that is 20mm per side.

Haha sorry mate

originally wheels are ET45 so they would be ET25 front and ET20 Rear , as they are 20mm per corner on the front and 25mm per corner on the rear, slight scrubbing on the rear when fully loaded due to rim protector on the tyre

Cheers

Haha, no worries.

Not a bad guess at ET50, I was only 5mm out! I guessed they'd rub a bit, mine do and are nowhere near that far out.

What size tyres you got on those 10.5s?

That's fantastic news... sounds like I might get away with my 9" ET15 after all! I should have 9mm extra at the front and 14mm at the rear.
