Cheers for the info Rick, has a real nice presence in the pics, what's made you think of a change to 20's and a colour change?

Gavla, I don't think he has coilovers, he said it was the adjustable spring kit.

Yes, Rick has the same ones that we ordered, but they are not coilovers, they use the DRC still.

Where did you have the car setup Rick or did you do it yourself?

cheers lads , thought id maybe change to 20s as ive got a picture of a rs4 from abroad and it had some 20 x 10.5 s on, so thought id try it, the caliper clearance was fine but was close to the suspension leg, rears fit but would need a 265 30 tyre, these had 275 30s and was close.

so i tried them on but im not so sure, i think either 9.5s or 10s would be best just so they can be tucked in a bit more.

this is 20 x 10.5

these were 20 x 9.5

Nice wheels but I'm not feeling the silver TBH - wheels can be quite subjective as your car is quite stealthy already then it pops out too much IMO. For me I think silver only works if you have the normal optics and silver wing mirrors to offset but it's all a personal choice at the end of the day. Might be worth looking at darker options but in the same size?

It's good to know that there's a bit left in that KW kit. Thanks ;-)

yeah i agree, the finish wasnt the best either, i would have powdercoated them black or titan if i bought them,

love the kw kit, only gripe is adjusting the rear, its hard to get the spanner on the bottom part of the adjuster because of the lip on the car where the adjuster fits

Yes agreed - think these colours work best for stealth. I've also heard adjusting the rears are a bit of a nightmare ;-) Hopefully will have this kit soon so I'll find out...

today i decided to take the bumper off and spray my headlights and make a larger cold air feed and scoop,

took the headlights appart and sprayed the front chrome reflector part black, they just stood out far too much inside the light. i also have some smoke lamin x that i might put on but this was before i did the black.

next was the filter, with the aux rad removed previously i had pleanty of space for a large cold air feed, i used fiberglass to make a cone on the air box, and the same on the back of the scoop behind the fog light and then linked the two with flexi ducting, i can get my arm through the feed from the air filter so pleanty of air going in now,

ill do some logs some time this week to see what gains ive got.

the engine / intake sounds louder which is nice too

Good stuff. Got any better photos of the headlights?
I was also thinking about ways to get more cold air into the air filter and less hot air. It thought about extending the carbon air funnel to fit tight around the cold air feed but althought it will give colder air I don't think it will give enough air unless I added a second hose.

ill take some tomorrow.

if the SAI was removed toy could make a large feed to the carbino, 4-5 " would be fine, i would make up the carbino with an enclosed end, a bit likr this

then put the feed behind the fog.

after i had been out for a blast i lifted the bonnet and the airbox was cold to touch all the way to the throttle body and the inlet was warm but not hot
