When I spoke to Adrian Flux last year and they wanted £1500 for the RS4, that’s with 12 years no claims and a clean licence. Seeing as I had been with them for 12 years I thought this was a little steep

Called Admiral up and got it for £460 :beerchug:

Funny old game car insurance.

That's shocking  It's very strange insurance, it is cheaper for me to keep it on the street with no tracker than it is to keep it in a locked garage with a tracker :?

Statistically there are more claims on garaged cars - why? Because of damage caused by other things in the garage, especially things falling out of the roof and of of shelves.

And thieves know which house to break in to to get the keys too whereas on the street they don't know which house to break in to get the keys

They could easily watch to see what house you go in. Same as if it was in a garage. They look what house the car goes in if its a garage, they watch what house the person goes in after leaving the car.

My insurance goes down due to it being garaged.

That makes you the exception that proves the rule, I was quoted £100 more for garaged.

Mine was around £60 more not garaged and across the board it was higher. Could be my area? I'd pay more to have it garaged anyway. Just to avoid it getting keyed etc.

I would keep mine there anyway, some waste of sperm has keyed my st all down the side so that's going to cost £300 to fix :knob:
