If you want your seat back to be finished in Piano Gloss Black, then I’m sure you’ll not need GRP or Carbon Fibre. All you’ll need is to key the back of the seats with 180 grit paper, spray on a coat of epoxy resin then a few coat of Piano Black Gel Coat when it’is still tacky. Either finishes off with 3 layer of lacquer or a lot of elbow grease with very fine wet and dry, then machine polish to a shine.

grey scotch seat backs, 1 coat of plastic primer, 2-3 coats black base coat(solvent or waterbase), 2-3 coats of laquer, flat with p1500 discs on orbital sander then with p3000 trizact discs wet, polish to sheet of glass... job done.
