Well, my RS3 has been dropped off for the brake fix!!

Post by gilford » Tue May 14, 2013 9:39 am

Dropped it off earlier, interesting to find out what is replaced in the Audi supplied "kit" :assflash:

On a different note, I've had a brand new A3 as a loan car .................. :dung:

I have read some of you state this car is far superior to the RS3 generation, one question, are you on drugs!!! The "rubber" dashboard is awful, that pop up screen which looks as though it would fail at even the slightest knock and that pull out ashtray/cup holder thing WTF is all that about!?!?

Too much like the A1 for my liking

I'll be asking about this, I forgot it was available.

Assume it's a recall on all cars irrespective of age?

It's only a select few at the moment so I've been told, I logged a complaint with Audi UK who have sorted it all out for me, I beleive it will be rolled out for all who have logged an issue soon?

OK, interesting. I raised it with my dealer ages ago. Will chase them up.

Don't bother with the dealer, ring Audi UK, that is the only way you will get any sense as loads from various forums have tried and failed.

I have not been told what the fix involves, a box full of parts arrived at my dealers but they are yet to check it (or so I'm told). I will get a full breakdown when I collect it, god knows when that will be though.

As you drive away they give you a waving gesture akin to saying goodbye.
No matter where you go, there you are.
