In place, working correctly, again as described and as was discussed in three weeks of email to and from'ing before actually driving 7 hrs at cost to view an altogether different vehicle, although of course silly me it the same colour as the pictures....... Something that isn't actually FAXXORING SMASHED UP ON EVERY CORNER WITH PAINT ACTUALLY BUBBLING OFF THE ARCHES, THE BUMPERS FRONT&BACK, BUBBLING OFF THE OPTICS PACK, THE FUXAXXXORING FECKING DRIVERS DOOR LIFTING UP ON CLOSURE WITHOUT SEALING CORRECTLY, FAULT LIGHTS FLASHING, MAIN RECEIPT OF MAIN JOB MISSING, ........ I mean JEEEEESSSSSUUUUUSSSS CHRIIIIIST.. I cannot begin to describe the complete incompetence and my utter disbelief at some of the vehicles descriptions out there that are currently for sale..

Problem is with these cars is that any cheap skate can now afford them, when they go wrong they just sell them on to the next poor unsuspecting sod.

Keep looking, there will be one out there!

as Ant says, some owners love the blistering speed of these cars, but aren't prepared for the running costs.

thanks all. Well after being in a few of these in the past, I'm going to be very picky which is why I think a forum car is clearly the only real choice.

Needs to be right in most areas that are of concern for me, I paid 5k for a gearbox on the S6, then luckily the inchcape warranty on the RS6 covered the £7k bill, not going there again..So will keep eyes and ears peeled..

It is very difficult to replace the C5.....for the money what else offers the performance and package? Have been thinking of upgrading to RS3 and get Doug at MRC to work his magic, but they are still too much money

Have to be honest, if I had some more £ I'd be back into a B7, C5, wonderful cars, everything you need until you want to rag it around the track.. Point and squirt amazing, nothing else comes close for sheer comfort and exhilaration, but fun in the sun...B7 and supercharge.... One day

Hi cam. I am selling mine at he moment. still have not got round to putting up the ad for it yet.
It is a silver plus 98k miles, full service history, MRC Remap and aquamist, Full straight-through Milltek Exhaust, 530 bhp, 570 torque, just had a brand new gearbox put in, Brand new DRC, brand new front and rear disk and pads and a service from jack barclay Audi. 15k bill just spent on it.

I think you should be setting your sights on a slightly dog eared B6 S4 !! I might need to liquidate some assets to pay the Ex £horrendousamounts......but I am not doing a part ex with the cloth interior !!
Or buy that blue one a little further up your road.....he keeps driving up my road at 6 am, shaking my windows and waking me up!!

Mine did. Most are natural leather.
