Where to buy new tyres

Post by Porky » Wed Apr 20, 2011 11:20 am

Hi All,

Been away from the forum for ages so out of touch.

I'm looking to get some new tyres shortly so wanted to know where the current best place to get some 255/35/19s from? I like the Vreds as I have them now and am happy, but happy for alternatives...

Thanks.,

Will

I get my tyres from Michedever Tyres which are a bit down the M3 but not that far for you. They don't do Vreds but I just got 4 x PS3 or whatever the new Michelin is in 255 for just under 250 per tyre fitted/blanced etc. You can book a slot if having 2/4 tyres fitted which makes things easier as they get very busy.

I've found Camskill to be very competitive in the past and reliable.

Worth trying Costco if you're a member, they're opening a new branch in Southampton next week and the opening offers include 20% off Michelin tyres.

I've just ordered 4 x Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 V2 from event tyres £213.30 each fitted [double checked they a V2 on the phone] - they will be coming to my house on Thursday afternoon to fit along with some shiney spacers and bolts ETC from good old virdee! The RS4 is slowly coming together!

Damn good price IMHO, other makes are roughly the same price.
