Haha, I've actually had the whole rear bench out and boot liner this weekend and can confirm the sound is pretty raw :D

I have removed the ski hatch and have the arm rest down, the gap is covered with acoustically transparent cloth. Maybe that's why mine is so loud? I even covered the back of the seats with sound deadening material but didn't do much to quiten it (that wasn't why I used the sound deadening though).

Nice sound, when I had my car semi-stripped and running the non-res milttek with sports cats and GruppeM, that sounded immense..do miss it.
