Sometimes driving feels like yr in a washing machine on high spin. Took wheels back, all re-checked for balancing, all ok. One of the rears changed for the front to equal out the stick on weights. Issue less worse, but still noticeable.

Help really really appreciated.

Sand the faces of your wheels flat.
9 times out of 10 your refurbed wheel faces are not perfectly flat.
This imbalance will eventually cause your brake discs to warp.
And introduce wheel wobble.
Very common on Audis with floating bell discs.
Hi, is there a better way to be more precise on sanding the wheel faces? Take down to a local garage who can do this?? Unbelievable. The motor was perfect before the wheels were done - pissed off.
Offer a perfect flat metal face such as a spacer up against the face of the wheel and feel for an wobble between the two.
Or you could take it to any decent machining shop.

I cannot believe it, I now have the dreaded vibration through the steering wheel.
New discs and pads fitted 3 weeks ago.
Just been serviced and Audi say I may need a replacement tyre as one of the recently purchased ones has a nail in it. not losing pressure but it may need changing as is it is not repairable, however, Audi state that if there is more than 2mm difference between tyres I would have to change both tyres on the axel due to the 4 wheel drive.

Had my wheels balanced at Kwik fit last week but still vibrating at 80mph and above. With 4 grown men in the car yesterday the vibration was even worse. so went back to Kwik fit for re-balancing, when I told them what speed I have the problem, they replied our machine only balances up to 80mph and the speed limit is 70 sir.
