Auto bootlid stopped working

Jas, where was the broken wire? Was it same place as mine?

Any reason why the wire broke?..bit random isn't it.

Not exactly sure where the break was but I couldn't find it when I stripped the bootlid liner and tried to check myself. The valet feature confused the guy too as when the key position is not horizontal the drivers door switch doesn't work.

All done now so happy again. Only expense this month should be an oil change (I hope! )
