Again, I can recommend MRC, especially if you are in the Midlands, they are very popular on this forum. Other tuners popular on here but further away are Unit20, Revolution and AmD.

My car had lots of work done at MRC by the previous owner. I had clutch and service there. Very pleased with them after they sobered up the steering by moving the subframe :)

Yep +1 for MRC, my car was with them for a re-map, milltek, gutting of the pre-cats and a cold air feed a few weeks ago, car feels amazing and the boys there certainly know what they're doing! :biggrin3:

Loads offer maps, but you need to be asking them if they can unlock the full power restriction in the first three gears,MRC do this and it makes probably the biggest driveability difference your going to notice in the real world driving situations, full power above 100mph is pants and so is having to drop a 4.2 v8 down a few cogs to overtake at regular driving speeds.

How are you running de cats without a remap? The dash must look like a disco? I would be driving it hard until properly mapped, your fuelling will be all over the shot and it must be running like a pig when cold if its still taking readings from both sets of lambda probes? With de cat it wants a custom map on the dyno at MRC,650 or so if I remember correctly.

Just what I was thinking. Was gonna go back and look for the thread. I'm thinking maybe it was because of that thread he realised he needed a remap.

It's not smoking heavily just a bit but I think there was too much oil in this car for some strange reason you don't full the oil up to full on a rs4 so you lot keep telling me

We said don't check the level / fill it up when cold. This is true of any engine, not just the RS4.

if your car has already had the MRC treatment via its previous owner then im afraid your at the end of the road power wise in N/A form.
there's only one more option left, supercharging.
