Looking at that, it's just a bit more "in yer face" than I was looking for - so I'm going to pass on this. I won't fit a Milltek for much the same reason.

Caldy, thanks for your efforts - I'm sure this will appeal to plenty of folks on here.

Cheers

No problem - Argon were also considering a simpler version a la DTM but which fitted equally all the way around. Watch this space.....

Just a little too unsubtle for my taste, but I might well be interested in the DTM-style splitter. Many thanks for your efforts Caldy

Good news all round methinks - the guys at Argon are tooling up for both versions, the original-aggressive version and a DTM copy that fits.

Pics will be available for tomorrow. Tooling costs will be absorbed by Argon so there is no need for deposits. Price for either version in 2x2 carbon fibre are projected to be £330 incl VAT, excl. delivery. A grp version may be available, watch this space.

Good work Caldy, I'm sure they will make plenty of money this way and everyone is happy. Now I need to decide which one is better once all these expenses are out of the way.

That's good news that.
Hope they do the plain black ones and at a decent price, then folk don't have to worry so much about it getting scraped or the like.

Thanks for your efforts Caldy

Good point about black v CF. I think CF would look better but a bugger once it's scratched. Thanks for keeping us plated Caldy.

I popped over to Argon’s work Shop on Tuesday night and saw both versions. The more settle DTM style still looked as though it was sticking out too much on the sides (like the other version), but they had a good look of my A4 DTM splitter and agreed that it would look more OEM if it was more in line with the bumper, which will look OEM to the RS4.

Just want to throw in my $0.02.

- This is great and absolutely what the community is all about.
- There has been no involvement from RS246. There is no "Site Sponsor" involved.
- This has not been through the Group Buy policy (http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=55082).

Because you guys are so far down the road on this, RS246 Limited will just have to say "Nothing to do with us, good luck, make sure you get trace-ability for the money you hand over and enjoy".

In no way is this a post to stop this from happening, it is a reminder that risks exist and the measures we usually take to minimise the risk have been circumvented.
