My MOT is due soon - is it better to get it done at Audi or an independent garage - guidance appreciated.

Re: MOT preference
My local dealer cant do wheel nuts up so I went elsewhere even though I had a free MOT voucher with them.
Re: MOT preference
I had mine done at independent who i trust, also had full service at the same time, so only charged 25 for the MOT.

I've had car a couple months now and all receipts for services and MOT are showing the car has only ever been to Audi for work.

Re: MOT preference
had mine done recently at Audi - I sat and had a coffee while I waited for it to be done - £49 plus they washed and cleaned the car so it was gleaming when it was ready (it took about an hour)

Audi. They do an MOT protection guarantee. My rear springs were cream crackered at the MOT this time and they replaced then FOC. Happy days.
Re: MOT preference
For me Audi, £50 for the MOT and get £750 protection insurance to make sure it passes.

Re: MOT preference
I'd always go to Audi for my MOT's - [as long as they get the reg. num. right
] - £49 for a MOT and decent carwash plus free coffee and Audi's to look over while you wait.
There £750 is worth it as well.
Kev.
