***B8 RS4 picture/colour thread!***

One question. Out of the two, which is the better drivers car in your opinion?

They felt quite different and i suspect one would need quite a while with the B8 to get the best out of it with so many variables available (chassis, steering, gear shifts etc).

On balance, with my limited exposure, I think the B7 edges it for the ability to just jump in and floor it knowing that it's well sorted from the off. Steering in particular is better on the B7 I think.

Loving the new arches..but B7 is like a car on steroids whereas B8 is more subtle..

i remeber this debate and most hated the look of the B7 remarks like you will be hard pressed to tell the diferance between a tdi s line and B7 RS4 not as aggressive looking as the B5 etc etc but in the flesh side by side with the B8 the B7 looks dated now as the B5 did along side the B7

yep that was the concensus when the B7 came on the seen but it has grown on everyone that has them the same i feel wil be true about the B8 as i can say it is much better in the flesh when i trade mine in as no one is buying it i wll get a side by side shot as above

B5 still look class in my eyes and aged very well indeed..

The B5 does look really good. Can we get a few people together and park a B8 next to the two?

Yeah, it looks good from the front but I think maybe they got a little carried away with the rear arches.
