I've run winters this year, they're stupidly good, ContiSportContact 3s. There was 6" of snow and yet the braking was amazing, dropping a gear to engine brake was great fun too. Even after the snow has melted these winters are a cut above, very reassuring.

Yep, the same experience here with Continentals (WinterContact TS830P).

Got mine from http://www.mytyres.co.uk. Delivered in less than week.
Or try to get the best online price for a set and then call your local garages to see if they can beat the price, fitting included. I am sure you'll find one that could.
Didn't know that, ordered online, then went to my usual garage to fit them, only to realize they would get them for me at the same price as online, but with fitting included. £40 is not a big deal, but better than nothing, plus you are spared the hassle with delivery.
