The car was owned by a forum member but had a personalised plate so not sure where you would recognise it from. Also I think this may be the first picture I've posted of the car because you can't tell how dirty it is. I'm pretty crap at car cleaning so use that as excuse to spend 4 hours driving it at the weekends rather than cleaning it.
Yeah I love the stealth wheel look. Here's mine on B5 S4 Avus 17s and Vredestein Wintrac Xtremes:

Loads more snow here, went out to play for 2.5 hours this evening down similar roads that I enjoying Friday evening taking the scenic route home from work, all countryside, half of it single track, taking it easy, no heroics, well not apart from the Peugeot I pulled out a ditch......

The last single track lane making my way home into Bedford I came across a pick-up well and truly in the ditch, owners had left it, and then another 1/4 mile along a 306 with the occupants still in it! They were fine, passenger was actually a workmate, they'd moved too far over letting another car pass and the front had slipped sideways, but unlike the pick-up the back hadn't slipped over as well. He had a tow rope, but the other car hadn't been able to get them out. Their engine had since cut out after 15 minutes idling tilted and wouldn't restart, but they came out out with less effort than I imagined, there was hardly any wheelspin! Theirs started when on the flat again thankfully. Absolutely NO WAY I would have got them out if I was on 18" summers!

Yep, winter rubber is essential with 600PS. They're a bit big (275/30/19r) but still awesome. I was driving with the TC off this morning on the road pictured, slow, lazy, power-on drifts. A lot of weight moving around but if you keep your foot smooth, don't brake and trust the quattro, it's still very controllable. It's also less stressful on the anus if you know the road well. I covered 250 miles yesterday too, such a capable car.

On a separate note, BMW X5 drivers think they're Collin McCrae the moment it snows...

I've got to get some winter tyres on mine, I've just been in my van as I don't trust some the idiots out there, the cars I have seen sliding about are women in bloody range rover sports, with <beep> tyres thinking they're invincible, out of interest bam, what's the damage on those tyres, I'm running 275.30.19
